Front of House Team Member
Role: Part time
Age: 16+
Working days: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, plus every other weekend
Duties include:
- Serving barista coffees
- Till work
- Preparing light lunches
- Clearing tables
- Loading and unloading the dishwasher
- Replenishing stock
- Assisting with general cleaning duties
- Maintaining a high level of cleanliness in all areas
Plant Area Assistant
Role: Full time
Working pattern: 10-day fortnight, including every other weekend
Duties include:
- Assisting customers with indoor and outdoor plant enquiries
- Maintaining the appearance of plant displays
- Receiving and processing stock
- Delivering excellent customer service
- Helping within the garden centre, including some heavy lifting
- General cleaning within the garden centre
- Learning different areas of garden centre retailing
- General shop assistant duties
What we’re looking for
- Someone outgoing, friendly and happy to communicate with customers
- A reliable team player with good communication skills
- Someone who can work well under pressure
- A positive attitude and willingness to help across the business
